Sotheby's launches the Vineyard Collection

Sotheby's International Realty Canada announces the launch of the Vineyard Collection, featuring wineries and vineyards throughout the Okanagan Valley. Properties range from just under nine acres to almost 17 acres, with prices starting at $2.1 million.

"Vineyards represent the true spirit of the Okanagan," says Sotheby's realtor Christa Frosch. "These properties offer privacy, exclusivity, and a lifestyle that is connected to old-world traditions. It's an opportunity to join an incredible community of wine makers, at a time when the region is coming into its own on the world stage."

With more than 120 vineyards and four annual wine festivals, the Okanagan has become a prime wine producer and gastro-tourism destination. Key listings in the Vineyard Collection include two properties from Penticton’s Holman Lang Vineyard Estates, makers of award-winning wines including the best icewine at the Austrian Wine Challenge 2007. Taking advantage of Sotheby's extensive network of brokers, the Vineyard Collection will ultimately feature properties listed throughout Canada.

This expansion follows the successful fall launch of the Okanagan Collection, represented by realtors Christa Frosch, Maria Peters, Brandon Groenveld and business manager Chad MacTavish. The Okanagan Collection has attracted international interest and now includes over 30 luxury properties listed throughout the Okanagan Valley.
