Planned five bedroom, five bathroom houses, made largely out of composite and built out over the water on steel and concrete piles, they are designed to look like moored superyachts and come complete with their own berths alongside (up to 140' in length).
The Marine Houses have a design template which is very well thought out, however purchasers will enjoy the option to go back to spec with the architect in order to fully customize every feature about their home. Here is a brief description about what has been planned:
With a total of 6,179 square feet of internal and external space, each Marine House feels wonderfully spacious. The main reception and dining room is a massive, double height space, with glass doors opening out to the spa and deck. Aikona yacht decking is used throughout. A carbon fibre spiral staircase leads from the deck up to the master bedroom's private balcony above. And the four other bedrooms all have private views over the bay.
A glass staircase leads back to the ground floor. At its base is a glass floor, which provides intriguing views into the Ocean. Also on the ground floor is a spectacular Miele kitchen, a utility room and a cold stor, a boat store and a docking port for the buggy that comes with the house.
The roof terrace provides a stunning entertainment area, served by a dumb waiter from the kitchen on the ground floor, and has its own barbeque and cloakroom facilities.
High ceilings not only promote a sense of space but feel cooler in warm climates
Tall doors give the entrance to every room a sense of occasion
Biometric, fingerprint controlled locks are on the front doors, so you dont need to be burdened with keys for you or the children to lose when you go to one of the pools
0.2 watt LED lights on all the balconies cost next to nothing to run and twinkle in the night
18.28 millimetre (three quarters of an inch) thick, floor to ceiling, sliding glass windows, made in Germany and TUV tested, guarantee that a flying object, up to 125mph, will not penetrate them in the unlikely event of an hurricane. The odds of being struck by a hurricane in Grenada are the same as the odds of being struck by one in New York
