THE MANOR HOUSE:
This property is a fine example of the one and one-half story stone house known as a "Rideau Cottage", which became the most popular form of a farm dwelling in Ontario from 1840 to 1875. This stone house was built in the late 1840's, and has heavy well-cut corner quoins with solid stone lintels over most of the windows. The roof trim and cornice returns on the gables are finely detailed.
The interior layout is a central hall plan with rooms above and below. This house has been designated historical in some of it's aspects but not all, allowing for expansion, etc. The house has a living room with a wood burning fireplace, a reception area, and a main floor kitchen with a decorative old country stove. Continuing along the main floor, there is a dining room with an adjacent sunroom also used for dining that altogether seat 32. The dining room, reception area and living room are all licensed.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, each with their own ensuite and one of with a jacuzzi and fireplace. There is one bedroom on the main floor (referred to as the Bridal suite) which has an ensuite bathroom containing a 2-person jacuzzi and a wood burning fireplace. The bridal suite opens, via French doors, onto the grounds.
The lower level consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have fireplaces and ensuites (one with a single person jacuzzi and 2 with double person jacuzzis). Although the fourth bedroom does not have an ensuite, there are 4 washrooms opening to a shared hallway. Two of the bedrooms on this level open up onto private terraces with their own entrances and stairways to the grounds. This lower level also consists of a full commercial kitchen, laundry facilities, and storage areas.
THE COACH HOUSE:
The adjacent Coach House (restored in 2007) seats 60 for dinner and 75 for retreats/conferences, has 4 bathrooms (2 handicap), two stone patios, and a gazebo.

Entrance to the Coach House is achieved via two sets of three French doors on either side, with spectacular views of the grounds through the cathedral window. Should the space need to be darkened for presentations, custom-made door covers are available that completely darken the interior as required.
There is a stone patio on either side of the building each of which is 10ft x 20ft, and an attached gazebo on the far side of the building - this space is ideal for an outside bar or for plating dinners held within the Coach House.
PATIO:
A large outdoor patio is suitable for seasonal events with the addition of a tent (rented), and easily accommodates 200 guests. The patio also provides space as a dance floor for weddings.
THE CABIN:
Located in close proximity to the primary buildings, the 2-bedroom Cabin was refurbished in 2006. It also includes a screened in living room/porch area.
THE BARN:
A two-storey barn with a separate entrance to 5 horse stalls provides ample storage space and room for extra appliances/utilities.
THE ANNEX:
Built in 1996, this building contains a total of 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms and one bathroom have been recently renovated, with the remaining rooms (including living room, kitchen & dining areas) currently under renovation.
ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS:
There is one other building with hydro and water which is presently unused.
